The containers are dipped in an acid based solution which superficially attacks the glass surface creating a matt and frosted aspect.
Transparent areas can be achieved by first masking these areas before frosting. Thanks to these “windows”, you can see the color of the beverage and even better, this will enhance the decoration printed on the opposite side of the window.
